Luxus Hunza is the best-known resort on Attabad Lake — terraced glass-front suites and villas stepping down to the water, floating decks, and the turquoise that made the lake famous filling every window. Nightly rates run roughly PKR 45,000–120,000 by season and suite class; water-facing rooms sell out weeks ahead for June–August. It's also, fairly, the most debated hotel in the north: spectacular position, occasionally stretched service in peak weeks.
What you're buying is position. No other property in Gilgit-Baltistan puts you this close to this colour — sunrise turns the lake to backlit glass and you watch it from bed. The floating deck breakfast is the north's most photographed meal, and boats leave from the resort's own jetty.
The honest notes: peak-season occupancy tests the kitchen's pace, road-facing rooms miss the point entirely (insist on water-facing), and weekend crowds day-visit the grounds. Book midweek if you can, and treat the suite class seriously — the gap between standard and water-front premium is the whole experience.

Can you swim or boat at the resort?
Boating yes — the resort has its own jetty and licensed boats. Swimming is cold-plunge territory (glacial melt, 10–15 °C even in July) and only sensible near the decks in calm water.
